Designer Label Nail Art

One of my good friends loves all things designer so he asked me to paint his nails with ten of his favorite designer's logos. We ended up deciding to paint one hand white and the other one black with the script in the opposite color. One the white nail hand I painted on the Alexander McQueen logo, Fendi, Balmain, YSL, and Louboutin logo. For the black nail hand I painted Moschino, Chanel, Bally, Prada, and the Dior logo. Overall we were both really happy with how this manicure came out!

Guest feature of my hand since I still have on my Louboutin manicure.

Christian Louboutin Nail Art

I've done Christian Louboutin inspired nail before (like actually painting stilettos on my nails) so this time around I decided to do the ultimate Louboutin manicure. This trend has been on the internet for many years now and since my nails are adequately long enough I could do them successfully. That is, strictly speaking, painting the under part of my nails red (just like a classic Louboutin shoe).

I painted the top of all of my nails black and painted the under side of my nails first white and then red. Sealing everything with two coats of a glossy top coat, I now have a luxurious and simple manicure.

Harry Potter Nail Art

The long awaited Harry Potter manicure.

I got to go to the Harry Potter Wizarding World Park at Universal Studios this weekend, so I HAD to do a matching manicure. I didn't have long to paint these nails, so I kept all of the designs quite simple. I included some footprints from Marauder's Map, four wands (Hermonies', a Death Eaters', Dracos', and Dumbledores'), a patronus, the famous HP, the deathly hallows sign, a lighting bolt, and a snitch. The first few pictures were taken at the park with some very recognizable items being sold at the various gift shops and the last few photos feature the first book as my background.

Makeup Nail Art

Makeup on my nails, what?!?! Well not technically, but the idea is still there. I've seen this type of design a lot on my Pinterest and needed to try it out for myself. I used two different types of light pink polish for my base color and then added ten different types of makeup related motifs; eyeliner, mascara, a contour kit, nail polish, highlighter, eyelashes, a brush, blush, a eyeshadow palette, and a lipstick. I added some pink sparkle nail polish to the background (very subtle) and then some pink stars to add to the cute style of the overall manicure.
