Cutting the LONG nails!

Alien! They look so alien without any polish!!!

I decided to cut my nails down since two of them were beginning to crack (near the nail bed) so in order to keep them healthy I needed to severely cut them. It's been at least three solid months of keeping them reasonably long so it was time for them to go. Plus, as the new year starts I can keep track of how long it takes to grow them based on the new year. 

Sad to see the talons go, but it had to be done!

Update of Long Nails

It's been a good three and a half months of me growing my nails out and wow they are sure long! Some people tend to dislike long nails but i love mine, having nail polish on them at all times keeps the breaking to a minimum. 

Update of Nail Length + Black Mani

In between my JigglyPuff nails and my weekly manicure, i did a simple black number to carry me through the weekend. I ended up using a simple black creme with a flakie on three of my nails to bring out the black. And WOW look at my length of my nails, this is the product of about 2 and a half months! I so proud of them, this has for sure been the longest that they have ever been.  

Naked nails, oh no!

This was the state of my nails after the first week of school, they are not quite as strong as they usually are so there is a lot of flaking on the tips on some of them.

I cut my nails a little and filed them and then put a coat of base coat on to keep them uniform for the weekend before i proceeded onto my next design. 

Simple Red Manicure

Right before cutting all of my nails down i decided to paint them all red, from the advice of one of my dear friends. A simple color can really showcase how long your nails are, that's for sure. When i removed the polish i had to take more pictures because my nails looked so good, surprisingly.

Naked Nails!

After i took of my zombie manicure i decided that i had to cut my long nails. Basketball season starts on saturday and i don't want to hurt anyone or myself with these weapons.
