90's Nail Art

In downtown Santa Cruz this weekend there was a 90's/00's concert that I attended and got to do a manicure on one of my friend's nails with that theme. I started with a white background and added some glitter acrylic paint followed by a whole bunch of 90's motifs. The alien heads were a fan favorite for sure. Sealing everything together with a glossy topcoat completed this funky mani. 

Fall Nail Art

In leu of Thanksgiving nails, I decided to do fall nails instead. Thankfully orange is associated with Halloween and Thanksgiving, so I emphasized that color before Christmas season takes over (i.e. green, red, and blue). I included a plaid french tip design on two of my nails, a fall leaf on my ring fingers and then on my middle finger i added some craft foil and dots to make it pop. I didn't have a secure plan when i started but I'm happy with the way the designs all go together. Plus I found some great flowers in the school garden to be my background. 

Design Galore with Mint and Purple

I couldn't pick just one theme this week so i did 10! I started out with a neon mint base color and then on each nail i painted on with purple acrylic paint a different design. I topped it all off with some glitter to make the manicure somewhat cohesive. 

Black and White Nails

Every nail was going to be different, and for a more dramatic look i only allowed myself to use black and white. I used lots of acrylic paint and rhinestones to complete this look.
