This is the third time that I have done Deck of Cards nail art ( Here are the first and second manicures) and each time I do these I am always amazed at how much art I can fit onto ten tiny little canvases. I think all and all, this manicure style might be my favorite design. This time around I did my left hand with spades and clubs and on my right hand I featured hearts and diamonds as well as the back side of a card. I had so much fun when creating this manicure and will definitely do these nails again when they grow out and I have more room for more details.
Welcome to WeeklyWackyNaills. This is a blog about nail art, nail polish and pretty much all else related to nails. Enjoy.:)

Psychedelic 60's Manicure
I wanted to do a water marble manicure this week but I didn't have enough colors that were thin enough to be water marbled. Instead I took a bright neon pink polish and clear nail polish and water marbled them together. Starting out with a clean white base I water marbled pink and clear into a little cup and then dipped my white nails into the solution. I finished the manicure by drawing on darker pink triangles on each of my nails and dotting white dots inside the allotted area. I'm surprised with the result and really like them!
My drawing turned out to be a really good background for this manicure since it fit into the trip 60's vibe that I was going for.

David Bowie and Alan Rickman Tribute Manicure
In light of this past week tragedies, I decided to do a tribute manicure featuring the great David Bowie and Alan Rickman. On my left hand I feature "Alan Rickman," "Severus Snape," a potion bottle, a black creme nail, and a Severus Snape bust outline. On my right hand I feature "David Bowie," "Ziggy Stardust," a microphone/music notes, a sliver glitter nail, and one of David's most famous makeup looks. All and all I'm pretty proud of this manicure, especially the two bust outlines.

"Bleeding Heart" Manicure
This past week I have found myself admiring heart tattoos a lot, so with that inspiration I created this manicure. I painted out an anatomically correct heart on my left thumb and then a cartoonish heart on my right thumb. I lettered in the phrase "Bleeding Heart" on the rest of my nails, don't really know why but I was digging the phrase so I went with it. I'm super pumped with the end result!
