I wanted to have a super funky and colorful manicure this week so this is what i came up with. I had five different nail polish colors and painted two nails each a different color. I had white, lilac, yellow, a see-through green, and a see-through pink. And as you can see, i went crazy! I added dots, stripes, lines, glitter, and rhinestones to all of my nails to make my nails pop!

Digging the pastel spring trend i decided to have a manicure displaying the soft gradient of 6 pastel colors. I used a sponge and together mixed a sky blue, pink, yellow, mint green, light orange, and lavender polish to create a uplighting background. Following the gradient of sorts i layered on a light glitter polish and then some black henna inspired flower outlines. I added some dots and then finished with a topcoat.

In honor of the Season 5 premiere this past Sunday of Game of Thrones i did a simple manicure featuring it as my theme. On my pinky and thumb for each hand I added dripping blood and on my left hand i wrote the saying "Winter is coming" and on my right hand "Game of Thrones," Last year's manicure here was more intricate compared to this year's but that's okay, i really enjoyed how the blood drops came out looking.

I only had two hours hours to create this manicure so i stayed relatively simple. I started with a white base color and then layered on my neon yellow so that the yellow would show up bolder. These photographs don't do the nails justice, my camera freaked out with such an intense neon, but i tried. I then painted some dark green lines and light green dots and finishing with some glitter.

Still missing Greece, i did another manicure drawing inspiration from the Greek culture. I drew ten different characters from the Greek alphabet. I started with a white background and then created a pastel water droplet background, following were the black letters and then rhinestones to spice things up.
Can you name all ten characters?
Four of the major temples that i visited in Greece were so beautiful that i had to create a manicure that was representative of them. Drawing inspiration from the Parthenon, the Temple of Apollo, the ruins of the Oracle of Dephi, and the Temple of Poseidon i created a sunset background with black silhouettes to be each of the temples. I was very happy with how the gradient sunset background turned out and then added some glitter on to emphasize the outlines.
Temple of Apollo
Oracle of Dephi
Temple of Poseidon
Can you tell which is which?
