Glittery Eyeball Manicure

For my final Halloween manicure I decided to paint on some cute little eye balls. I got too lazy to paint on all ten eye balls so I settled for doing six of my nails. My ring and pinky finger just feature polka dots and glitter; providing me with the color scheme for the remainder of my nails. Super simple manicure overall to end the month of October!

I Want to Eat Your Brains! Nail Art

Another week of spooky nail art! This week I decided to do some brains and some hearts. For my left hand I painted the outline of a brain on my ring finger and then the rest of my nails got to be some  abstract brain hemispheres. For my right hand I painted on a heart on my ring finger and then some veins and arteries on the remaining fingernails. Of course I added some glitter near the tips of all of my nails to really add to the spooky aesthetic!

Spooky Skeleton Nail Art

Now into the third Halloween manicure, I decided to up my game and do some bones. This manicure has been partly inspired by my binge watching of Bones the TV show. I started off with a navy/purple base color and then just used white and silver acrylic paint to create all of the creepy bones that you see. Sealing this mani off with two coats of topcoat, I'm quite excited how it turned out!

Bloody Fingerprint Nail Art

For my second spooky manicure I decided to mix glitter and gore; therefore the sparkly and bloody manicure was born. I painted on two knives on my thumbs (adding glitter of course) and then used my own fingerprints to create the bloody motif on my remaining nails. On my ring fingers I added in some more glitter and some black dripping drops to make the glitter pop. Sealing everything with a top coat finalized this spooky mani.

Baby Ghost Nail Art

I cut my nails down again due to the fact that my sculpture class is extremely hands on (welding this week!). Regardless, it's Halloween season!!! For my first spooky manicure of the season I painted these adorable lil ghosts on my nails. My ring finger was more so of an experiment, playing with orange and creepy eye shapes. Overall, I think these are hella cute!

90's Nail Art

In downtown Santa Cruz this weekend there was a 90's/00's concert that I attended and got to do a manicure on one of my friend's nails with that theme. I started with a white background and added some glitter acrylic paint followed by a whole bunch of 90's motifs. The alien heads were a fan favorite for sure. Sealing everything together with a glossy topcoat completed this funky mani.
